Overview
Moonlight Letters is a single-player visual novel. The game does not require an account and does not sell personal data. Story progress, language, settings, collections and manual saves remain in local storage on your device.
Local game data
The app stores progress, choices, settings and save slots locally so that play can continue between sessions. This information is not uploaded to a Moonlight Letters account or developer-operated profile. You can remove it through Android's app-storage controls or by uninstalling the app.
If Android backup is enabled on your device, Android may preserve and restore app data after a reinstall. You can manage or delete device backups through your Android and Google account settings.
Advertising and consent
The Android app includes Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform. Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings and the Google SDK configuration, Google may process device or advertising identifiers, account identifiers related to accounts signed in on the device, IP-derived approximate location, app and ad interactions, diagnostics and performance data.
Google may use this information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, security and legal compliance. Advertising consent is handled through Google's consent tools where required. If consent is unavailable, a form fails, the network is offline or an ad cannot load, the story remains playable.
The game may show interstitial advertising between content sections, sparse post-choice opportunities after progress has been saved, a banner on the main menu, and optional rewarded advertising. Ads are not intended to cover story choices or interrupt dialogue and endings.

Purchases
The current Android test release does not enable real-money purchases. It does not send purchase tokens or payment information to a Moonlight Letters server. If a future release enables Google Play products, this policy and the store disclosure will be updated before that release.
Data sharing
Moonlight Letters has no developer-operated player account service. Information processed through Google Mobile Ads, consent tools or Google Play is shared with Google in its role as the relevant advertising, consent or store service provider. The app does not include player chat, public profiles or user-generated-content uploads.
Security and retention
Local game data remains in Android app storage and is retained until you clear that storage or uninstall the app. Network communication performed by Google services uses encrypted transport. Google determines retention for information it processes under its own policies and controls.
Children
Moonlight Letters is a romantic visual novel and is not directed specifically to children. The applicable store age rating and target-audience declaration are determined from the final Google Play questionnaires.
Your choices and deletion
- Use the Google consent form, when displayed, to manage applicable advertising choices.
- Reset or delete local game data in Android Settings → Apps → Moonlight Letters → Storage.
- Uninstall the app to remove its local data from the device.
- Use Google account and advertising controls for information processed by Google.
